Iranian animation ‘The Servant’ by Farnoush Abedi has been selected to compete at the 19th Ismailia International Film Festival for Documentaries & Shorts in Egypt.

The animation tells the tale of a giant cockroach who gets tired of his servitude to man.

The festival includes four categories of “Animation Films”, “Documentaries”, “Short Documentary” and “Short Fiction”.

Headed by Egyptian film critic Essam Zakarea, The 19th edition of Ismailia International Film Festival For Documentaries & Shorts will be held on April 19-25, 2017.
